First Fall Family Session of 2014

So this should come as a surprise to exactly... nobody... but I have been sorely lacking in my blog posting yet again. I will start with my most recent session and post some highlights from previous sessions soon!

The L family has been one of my longest returning clients. I first met them when little K was just 3 months old, and she is now in kindergarten! It is truly an honor that this family is willing to make the drive from Naperville south to meet up with me each fall. I have greatly enjoyed watching the kids grow, and love catching up on all the new and exciting things that are going on in their lives!

Here are a couple shots from last weekend's session... we really did capture some great moments again this year!

8th Grade Promotion... How Can That Be?!

I realized just how long it's been since I posted on this blog (sorry, poor little blog, but Facebook has been getting ALL the attention lately). Oh my! I'll have to try to do better in 2014!

In other news, my daughter (my firstborn, my sweet baby girl) is in 8th grade, and there is talk of 8th grade class trips, dances, and... promotion/graduation ceremonies. How did that happen? How in the world did she go from her first day of kindergarten, in the cute little denim jumper and ankle socks with the Care Bear backpack, to EIGHTH GRADE in a blink of an eye?! Sooo very hard to believe...

In honor of my daughter's upcoming graduation from 8th grade (small sob), I have decided to run a studio special for other parents who would like to commemorate this occasion as well!

Another sneak peek... one outdoors and one studio!

The end of October surprised us all with a few gorgeous days! I had to reschedule a session with these two boys from the week before for rain, and I was sure glad we did! This day was beautiful... sunny and warm. We headed out to a local forest preserve for a quick mini-session and got some great shots.

Here is one of my favorites... their smiles just make me want to laugh along with them!

Then, just a few short days later, the weather changed. Luckily, we had a studio session scheduled for this chilly and blustery day! I've been photographing Miss K since she was only a few months old, and she just turned 4. Can't believe how time flies! She has definitely become a sweet and funny little girl... she kept me laughing through this session too.

Sneak Peek for the L and R families!

I have to confess that I have neglected this blog... big surprise, if you look at the frequency of posts on here. I tend to post most things on Facebook and kind of forget about this place!

So, that said, I have a couple previews to post from 2 families that have been with me for quite some time! I started photographing the L family when little K was just 3 months old, and in a few weeks we'll be doing her 4-yr session! I have also been photographing N for the past 4 years, and she has certainly grown into a lovely young lady. Amazing how time flies...

As mentioned in my previous post, I have been busy taking photos during baseball games this spring. Wow, it sure has been a long time since I've posted on here! I admit, I have neglected my blog in favor of my Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Heidi-Kreitz-Photography/32179020635), as it seems I spend a lot of my time (more than I should!) on Facebook anyway.


I have had a busy spring, with sessions and a new endeavor for this year, taking photos for our local baseball association (http://wilmingtonbaseball.net/). I have been taking action photos from the games and then posting them on my website for people to view and order. Fall 2011 Mini Sessions

I have finally set dates for this year's fall mini sessions! I have had several people asking about these, and here they are.

I am trying something new this year... I am giving clients the option of going with a traditional session that includes a few prints and holiday cards, OR receiving a few edited, high-resolution files instead. These files can be used to print your own holiday cards, make prints of your choice, etc. I do have recommendations for online labs that are good, as all photo labs are definitely NOT created equal!

There will be limited numbers of sessions available on each day, so call or email soon to reserve your spot. Locations have not been determined yet (suggestions welcome!) but will be in the Wilmington/Joliet/Kankakee/Channahon area again.

Oops... just realized a month has gone by with no activity on the blog! Sorry, I tend to forget... but I do have a few shots from a fun family session to share:)
