This past Saturday, I was able to take some pre-prom photos of a group of kids in my neighborhood. I also took some of my neighbor, "M," before the rest of the group came over. She looked so pretty - I'm glad she posed for me!
I had the opportunity to do my first maternity session a couple weeks ago - I was so excited! We wanted to do some with the couple's almost-2 yr old son, but he was less than cooperative, to say the least. But we got a lot of great images of mom!!
Here is Miss "E" with her new stuffed dog, Fluffy! I just love the expression on her face... I was glad to capture this sweet moment, since they are getting fewer as she grows so quickly.
This little guy was a challenge to shoot - not because he wouldn't smile, but because he wanted to crawl away every time his parents set him down! I was lucky to get off one or two shots and then he was off like a rocket - we all got a workout that day!!! He was very fun to photograph - these few shots are just a preview of his adorable personality shining through...

This was one of my first "official" portfolio building sessions - mom and I have been friends for years, so she brought the kids over for a photo shoot and to play. I was so happy to see all the great photos from the session! Here is a sneak preview...
Well, the week was very busy with lots of practices and late nights, but in the end Miss "E" had another great ice show! We were so proud of her - she did a wonderful job!
I've been waiting so patiently (or not!) for spring to arrive, and the flowers to bloom. We had a beautiful sunny afternoon, so I took advantage and got some great shots of the first flowers to bloom in our yard...
