Senior Guy- Class of 2009

This session was a long time in the planning stages... we had originally planned to do outdoor photos last fall, but that was derailed due to a basketball game/knocked out tooth incident! So... fast forward to this spring. The wet weather and scheduling conflicts put outdoor photos on hold, but we were finally able to squeeze in a studio session.

M was a good sport and we got some great shots!

I had a hard time deciding between color and B/W on some of these b/c the green shirts he chose really looked great with his eyes, but anyone who knows me knows I'm a B/W girl at heart! I like the more dramatic, moody lighting for senior guys... it seems to fit.

So, M (and mom B!), I hope you enjoy this quick preview. I'm almost done with the entire session and will have those to you VERY soon!

Anniversary Session

I had the opportunity to do a session last week with a couple who is celebrating their 8th wedding anniversary. I was excited to do the session at their house, because they have a great yard! Out front is the cutest little white picket fence, as well as a GREAT porch with white rocking chairs. The back has some lovely flowers and landscaping as well... gave me lots of ideas of what I would like to do to my own yard!!

Here are a couple from the session... I have some in color too and they looked really nice, but I just liked these in B/W so much (yes, I am a B/W kinda girl).

N&S, thanks for allowing me to capture some special memories for you! I had lots of fun working with you, and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

A quick post because I've been a bad blogger...

I've actually been super busy lately with clients, TONS of stuff with the kids schools, sports... ugh! While I am working on editing those pics, I realized I hadn't posted in quite some time. So here is a photo I took of my daughter a couple months ago right after I got my 5D, new softbox and my new backdrop.

Isn't she a sweetie? :) I just love those lashes...
